How it works

Real-time job information transfer

Each engineer is equipped with a handheld PDA device that enables seamless contact with your team in the office, and allows for real-time job information transfer. Once the engineer arrives on site to either deliver or collect equipment, they’ll receive a site-specific health and safety update to alert them about any potential hazards. This not only keeps your employees more protected, it ensures you are fulfilling your duty of care.

Capturing job information and photographs

To help combat customer disputes regarding damaged equipment, the PDA includes a digital camera facility so the engineer can photograph the damage while still on site. There is also a customer witness function, which records the date and time the photograph was taken in the customer’s presence. The photographs are automatically uploaded to the job file, and can be used to resolve claims quickly and without unnecessary aggravation.

Enabling accurate detailed invoicing

If there are any shortages or delayed returns, this can also be immediately logged, ensuring that records are always up to date and enabling your accounts department to produce accurate and detailed invoices. This in turn helps speed up the billing process to ensure a healthy rate of cash flow.
